The mechanical engineering department at the University of Washington hosted a workshop focusing the the development of clean cookstoves. Participants included Eliot Levine from DOE, Raynee Chiang from GACC, Burn Design Labs, Berkeley Air, Colorado State University, Lawrence Berkeley National Labs, and Aprovecho.
Ben Sullivan presented his work on time resolved measurements of particulate emissions from biomass combustion systems along with Anamol Pundle, who presented his work on a CFD model of a natural draft cookstove for efficiency optimization and emissions reduction at the 2015 ETHOS meeting in Kirkland, Washington.
